(Pottawattamie County, IA) -- A Johnston woman is dead after an I-80 crash in western Iowa. The Iowa State Patrol says 35-year old Callie Rose Lisa Derflinger's Ford F-150 pick-up rear-ended a semi in a construction zone after 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) in Pottawattamie County. The truck driver, 56-year-old Stanley Rottinghaus of Waterloo was not hurt.
The State Patrol says both vehicles were traveling west on I-80 near the 35.4 mile marker and had just entered a 55 mph construction zone when the crash happened.
