(Marshall County, IA) -- A Marshalltown woman is dead after the motorcycle she was operating was rear-ended by driver in an SUV. The Iowa State Patrol says 48-year-old Shelly Anne Tuttle was hit on Main Street in Marshalltown, west of Wallace Avenue around 9:20 last (Saturday) night. The 17-year-old driver behind the wheel of the Ford Escape was not injured.
The ISP says both the motorcycle and the SUV were eastbound on Main Street when the SUV hit the rear of the motorcycle. Tuttle was ejected and died of her injuries.
