(Des Moines, Iowa) -- A Des Moines man is pleading not guilty in the death of a 15 month-old boy.
Court documents show Brandon Greenup entered a written plea on Monday.
He's accused of causing life-threatening injuries to the 15 month he was taking care of while the child's mother was at work. Police say Greenup didn't take the child to the hospital despite signs the child was having trouble breathing and went limp.
His trial is scheduled for October 4th.
