The Iowa State Patrol says a Joliet, Illinois man died in a crash late Friday afternoon on the Interstate in Western Iowa.
Troopers say 68-year old Steven Egan was operating a motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a curve on northbound Interstate 29 near Sloan, entered the median, and was thrown from the motorcycle;
Investigators say he died on the way to the hospital.
There were no other injuries, according to the Patrol.
