(Des Moines, IA) -- The annual Iowa State Fair Parade in Des Moines takes off Wednesday evening at 6:15. The parade starts at the Iowa State Capitol and will travel through downtown on Grand Avenue to 15th street. It will feature hundreds of floats, bands and other performances. The Iowa State Fair kicks off Thursday and runs through August 22nd.
