(Des Moines, Iowa) -- School districts in the Des Moines area are looking for bus drivers as the new school year starts.
The Johnston School District uses Student Transportation of America for its busing services, and the company is asking employees to refer people, offering a $750 bonus for referring a new hire. New hires who already have their Commercial Driving License will get a $1,000 bonus, and a $250 bonus is being offered for new hires without a CDL license.
Des Moines Public Schools is offering a $2,000 signing bonus and free CDL training for new hires, and a $5,000 bonus for new hires who already have a CDL license.
