(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines police are investigating a homicide on the city’s southeast side.
Police say they found a 43-year-old Des Moines resident dead in the 19-hundred block of Hartford Avenue near the Des Moines River during a welfare check Monday evening.
Police say the death was the result of a homicide.
No arrests have been made.
