Former Iowa high school coach charged with sexually abusing minor

(Undated) -- A former central Iowa high school coach has been charged with multiple counts of sexually abusing a minor. Thirty-six-year-old Aaron Koester was arrested in Indianapolis, Indiana September 3rd. He has been extradited to the Monroe County, Iowa Jail. Bond is $200,000. Koester coached at Albia High School. Investigators say the charges against Koester are not a result of interactions he had as a coach.

The charges against Koester include two counts of Sexual Abuse in the 2nd Degree (Class B felony) and two counts of Sexual Abuse in the 3rd Degree (Class D felony). These charges are not the result of interactions Koester had as a coach.
