(Ames, IA) -- All is quiet outside Jack Trice Stadium in Ames today, after Saturday's sell-out Cy-Hawk game. Iowa State University Police issued 20-citations and arrested 3 people at the game. ISU Police issued a statement on social media, "While the outcome of the game was not what we all wanted, thank you to the fans for making the overall day great."
The Ames Police Department issued a request on social media Saturday before the game to tailgaters, the department received more than 30-accidental 9-1-1 calls. Iowa beat Iowa State 27-to-17.
Iowa will next host Kent State at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City. The Cyclones travel to face UNLV in Las Vegas.
