(Des Moines, IA) -- A 19 year old killed in a Monday night crash in Des Moines is identified.
Des Moines Police say 19-year-old Christopher Paul Griffiths was killed in the four-car crash at the intersection of E. 14th Street and Thompson Avenue. A 20-year-old woman injured in the crash remains hospitalized. Her namehas not been released at this time.
Police have not released many details about the crash, but investigators say that excessive speed and reckless driving were both factors in the crash.
