(West Des Moines, Iowa) -- West Des Moines Police say a medical issue likely caused a driver to crash his van into a parked jeep, pushing it into a nearby garage.
On Monday morning. West Des Moines homeowner Brian Brown found a jeep inside his garage that wasn't supposed to be there. Police say the driver of a van hit the parked jeep at high speed, sending the jeep crashing into Brown's garage. Brown says the force of the crash caused a 700 pound gun safe to slam into the side of his home.
The driver was taken to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
