(Sac County, IA) -- A 16-year-old driver has died after a crash this (Tuesday) morning in Sac County. The Iowa State Patrol says the teen girl was driving eastbound on Highway 175, east of Auburn around 8:30 when her SUV crossed the center line. The ISP says the driver of a westbound semi, 50-year-old Mattew Dorscher of Cumberland, tried braking and driving on the shoulder, but could not avoid the collision.
The teen driver's name has not been released as of this writing.
