(Undated) -- Early voting begins Wednesday in Iowa’s city council and school board elections. This is the first state election since Iowa's early voting period was shortened from 29 to 20 days. You can register to vote on the Iowa Secretary of State’s website, SOS.Iowa.gov. The deadline to get an absentee ballot is October 18th. Election Day is November 2nd.
