(Grinnell, Iowa) -- A new national study from personal finance website WalletHub.com ranks Grinnell College among the nation's top colleges and universities.
The study looked at over 1,000 schools nationwide and was based on 30 measures including student loan debt after graduation, the student-to-faculty ratio, admission rates, ACT/SAT scores, and more. Grinnell College ranked 35th nationwide and Number 1 in Iowa. The top ten schools in Iowa are as follows:

- Buena Vista University
- Northwestern College
- Central College
- Wartburg College
- University of Iowa
- Simpson College
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology was ranked the top overall best college or university in the country.
