(De Soto, IA) -- A Fort Dodge man is accused of trying to cause his girlfriend to have a miscarriage. The victim tells police Michael Canady attacked her at a motel in De Soto over the weekend and hit her in the face and stomach. Canady was arrested Saturday and charged with domestic abuse and willful injury.
