COVID-19 Vaccine For Kids To Be Available In Iowa This Week

(Undated) -- Iowa kids between five and eleven-years-old will have the opportunity to get vaccinated against coronavirus this week. The Centers for Disease Control approved emergency use authorization of Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine for kids Tuesday. Now, Iowa's expected to get tens of thousands of doses of the vaccine sometime this week. Parents are recommended to contact their kids' doctor to schedule a vaccination appointment.
