(Des Moines, IA) -- Daylight Savings Time ends this Sunday and local health leaders say this can lead to seasonal depression.
They say some symptoms can be self-diagnosed.
"Are [you] having challenges with people at work or at school in a new or unusual way? Am I having a hard time really getting out of bed or having restful sleep," Kevin Carroll, Vice President of Behavioral Health at UnityPoint Health.
He says exercise and a balanced diet can help prevent Seasonal Affective Disorder.
Iowans will be turning their clocks back one hour this Sunday at 2 a.m.
