(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Now that the CDC approved the COVID vaccine for children, the Linn-Mar Community School District will no longer require masks when student's return from winter break.
In September, the district voted to require masks for students pre-kindergarten through sixth grade until a vaccine was available for children.
Masks will continue to be required on all Linn-Mar school buses.
