(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha Police awarded two officers the 2020 Officer of the Year award on Thursday.
Officers Robert Seitzer and Robert Soldo were recognized for their bravery and professionalism in dangerous moments.
According to police, on November 12th 2019, Officers Seitzer and Soldo responded to reports of a woman being shot at while driving. The officers located the suspects driving away from the scene, where multiple rounds were fired at the officers.
Officers Seitzer and Soldo engaged the suspects in a vehicle chase and later took the occupants of the vehicle into custody.
