(Des Moines, Iowa) -- A toddler in Des Moines is recovering after being hit by gunfire from an apparent drive-by shooting.
Des Moines Police say the shooting happened around 8:30 Sunday evening in the 800 block of Southeast McKinley Avenue. Investigators say a two year-old child was shot in the leg during the apparent drive-by. Police say the child's injuries are not life-threatening.
Detectives are still investigating the shooting, and so far no arrests have been made.
