(West Des Moines, IA) -- West Des Moines is considering whether to continue holding off on construction at Valley Junction. The city put a moratorium on new Valley Junction projects over the summer but the moratorium ended at the beginning of the month. Today the city council will consider extending that moratorium to an unknown date. The city is halting new construction so it can plan out new development using the Historic West Des Moines Master Plan.
