(Polk County, IA) -- A man from Perry is dead after a crash on Highway 141 north of Grimes. Investigators say evidence and witness statements indicate southbound traffic was stopped for a red light when the driver of a Ford truck failed to stop and rear ended a car. That car then collided with a trailer being towed by a pick-up truck. The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. His name will be released pending notification of family.
