(Undated) -- A number of hospitals in Iowa are being named some of the best in the country when it comes to heart attack treatment.
The American College of Cardiology is giving six Iowa hospitals a Platinum Performance Achievement Award - the highest level possible.
Hospitals on the list include Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, UnityPoint Health St. Luke’s in Cedar Rapids and Sioux City, and Trinity Medical Center in Bettendorf.
The award is given to hospitals who treat heart attack and other patients at the top level of standards.
