(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha's Children's Hospital and Medical Center is being forced to pay over $26-million in a medical malpractice case. On Monday a jury ruled a Children's Hospital doctor improperly discharged eleven-month-old Vivianne Marousek, who had head trauma and was suffering from seizures in 2017. Marousek now has chronic brain damage and her family members say they'll spend millions of dollars on her medical care during her lifetime. The $26.1-million payout is a record for a medical malpractice suit in Nebraska.
