Douglas County Sheriff's Office asking for help to identify theft suspect

(Omaha, NE) -- The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help in identifying a female suspect for stealing mail and writing bad checks.

DCSO says the theft and forgery have resulted in losses of over 10-thousand-dollars.

Law enforcement believes the woman has engaged in similar activities in Nebraska and Iowa. She was last seen driving a gray car in November.

People with information on the identity or whereabout of the woman are asked to call the DCSO tip line at (402) 444-6000.
