Random Testing Part Of UNL Spring Term Covid Strategy

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln announces new coronavirus protocols for the Spring Semester.

In a letter, Chancellor Ronnie Green says all students, faculty, and staff members will be randomly tested for covid in a program starting January 16th.

Those who are chosen for testing will be notified through the "Safer Community" app.

Next semester, the university’s saliva-based testing program will remain free and open to any student, faculty or staff concerned about exposure to the virus.
