(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Firefighters in Cedar Rapids are investigating a house fire that sent a man to the hospital this morning.
Police say someone was walking by a house just west of Kirkwood Community College Monday morning just before 2 a.m. when they saw smoke coming from the house. The passerby got a 71-year-old man out of the house.
The fire was put out and the man was taken to the hospital.
