Savanna, Illinois City Buildings Closed Due To Uptick In COVID-19 Cases

(Savanna, IL) -- All city buildings in Savanna, Illinois are closed because of an increase in coronavirus cases in the area. The city says it's trying to limit coronavirus exposure among employees and keep city services running. The city says it will reevaluate reopening the buildings once coronavirus numbers go back down. Mayor Chris Lain says city business can be done over the phone at (815)273-2251. Payments can be made anytime at the drop box outside City Hall.
