(Iowa City, IA) -- Jacob Meloan, one of the two FIJI fraternity members Makena Solberg accused of raping her in a lawsuit last year has denied the allegations.
Meloan's attorney filed a motion on Monday asking the lawsuit to be dismissed stating "Meloan's intentions point to a fair trial where all matters within the case be in the presence of a jury."
The motion also denied that the sexual activity was not consensual.
Solberg's lawsuit claims Meloan and Carson Steffen lured her into a bedroom of the residence and raped her. It also claims the incident was filmed or photographed then distributed without Solberg's consent.
