(Omaha, NE) -- The price of gas in Nebraska will be dropping a few cents in the new year thanks to a change in the state's gas tax.
On Tuesday, the Nebraska Department of Revenue released a document detailing the Nebraska motor fuels tax rate for the first 6 months in 2022.
Changes to the wholesale and variable tax rate on gas will lead to a nearly three-cent drop per gallon on January 1st.
