(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha police officers were dispatched to a disturbance yesterday which an officer fired his weapon.
A caller informed 911 his mother was "possessed and controlling him with her mind."
Two arriving officers found Deborah Michalak outside her home screaming her son was cutting his own throat.
Police then found Justin Michalak cutting himself near the throat inside the home.
After being combative with police, Justin grabbed Deborah and raised the knife to her upper body to which an officer fired a shot from his weapon.
Neither the man or the woman are believed to have life threatening injuries and the investigation is ongoing.
