During the Holiday Season, the Nebraska State Patrol and other law enforcement agencies have put an emphasis on stopping drunk drivers;
After last weekend, they are now also emphasizing a crackdown on speeding this Holiday Week through New Year's.
During the Christmas holiday weekend, troopers tell 6 News they issued 19 citations for vehicles speeding at more than 100-miles-per-hour.
In addition, state troopers arrested 11 people for driving under the influence and performed nearly 100 motorist assists.
