(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A man's arrested in Cedar Falls after a standoff that lasted over six hours. Police were called to a house on Cedar Falls' north side late Thursday night where someone said they'd been shot by a shotgun. Police say they got a description of the suspect's car and tracked it to a house on East Lake Street. Police say the suspect yelled at them, ran inside the house, and threatened to shoot them. Police say the suspect was inside the house for about 6.5 hours before non-lethal chemicals were used to get them out. The suspect was arrested around 6:09 a.m. Friday. The person who was shot has non-life threatening injuries and police say they're not cooperating with the investigation.
