The investigation continues Monday into the Saturday apartment fire that took the lives of two children in south Omaha.
The fire was around 6:45 a.m. near 29th and "S" Streets.
Investigators say two children and one adult were rushed to a hospital in critical condition after being rescued from the unit by firefighters, and the children later died from their injuries.
The adult female remains hospitalized.
No names have been released.
