(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- People around Cedar Rapids are seeing outdoor city pools getting filled with water.
Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation says filling the pools can prevent damage to the basins during the freezing and thawing process over the winter.
They say these outdoor pools are not open to swim in, but people can apply to work at a pool on the city's website.
