(Des Moines, IA) -- The Iowa legislature is back in session Monday. Iowa leaders will be proposing multiple bills in the months to come. Members of the Republican party are expected to cover a proposal on an income tax cut because of nearly $2-billion the state hasn't touched. Abortion laws and whether or not to let voters decide on legalizing marijuana are topics of discussion too, among other issues. The Iowa legislature is usually in session for 100 days.
