(Omaha, NE) -- People in Omaha will have many more choices for pet adoptions. Some of the animals the Nebraska Humane Society rescued in December are now available for adoption in Omaha. The NHS had rescued over 600 animals last month (Dec) from a local home. The NHS says it has also rescued over 50 animals from a home in Omaha Tuesday. It said in a Facebook post over 25 of those animals were dogs and puppies. The rest were birds, reptiles and small mammals.
