(Iowa City, Iowa) -- University of Iowa men's basketball coach Fran McCaffrey will not coach this weekend's game after testing positive for COVID-19.
The university athletics department says McCaffrey tested positive on Friday and is following health protocols. Assistant Coach Billy Taylor will fill in as acting head coach at Sunday's game against Minnesota. The Hawkeyes take on the Golden Gophers at Carver Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City at 3:30 Sunday afternoon.
