(Waukee, IA) -- Apple is closer to building a data center campus in Waukee. The city's Planning and Zoning Commission is meeting Tuesday about the 315-thousand square foot Data Center to be constructed on West Hickman Road. The city says Apple also plans on making about 5 more buildings at the same site. The data center is expected to cost more than $1.3-billion. No word yet on when the site would be completed.
