(Des Moines, IA) -- Bus stops around Des Moines are getting some artsy upgrades.
A handful of DART shelters have already gotten the facelift along the 6th Avenue corridor and on Drake's campus.
"Our ... requirements for the art is that it really celebrates the local flavor and identity of the neighborhood," says Matt Harris, Business and Community Partnerships Manager for DART.
The shelters so far have featured art from Iowans and Barbados.
