(Waukee, IA) -- The Waukee School District is taking name suggestions for its newest elementary school in Urbandale. The school district recently sent a survey to thousands of families asking them what the school off 156th Street should be called. Only a couple hundred families responded and the district says it’ll make a decision in a few weeks. The district says the name of any new facility should have special significance to the community, its traditions, and values. Facilities also cannot be named after any living person or anyone who’s been dead for less than five years.
