(Des Moines, IA) -- The first deadline of the 2022 session of the Iowa Legislature comes this week. The first "funnel" for proposed legislation comes Friday. It means any House or Senate bill not voted out of their respective committees are likely dead for the session. Funnel rules are designed to focus lawmakers work at the session continues.
