(Omaha, NE) -- People in the Omaha metro are encouraged to help a local food bank with its Share the Love event. Omaha Parks and Recreation is having a food drive with donation bins at all regularly open Recreation Facilities. The city says all non-perishable donations will be given to the Food Bank for the Heartland which serves people in need in Nebraska and Western Iowa. The food drive ends February 20th.
