(Omaha, NE) -- The face mask requirement at Omaha Public Schools could end soon. On Thursday the school board will consider making masks optional for students and staff. If the policy is approved masks would no longer be required starting Friday. Masks have been required in the district since the beginning of the school year. The mask requirement for the City of Omaha was lifted last week.
