(Des Moines, IA) -- A Des Moines woman is carried out of a burning house on the south side.
Fire crews were called to the house in the Southwestern Hills neighborhood around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday morning and say the fire began in the garage.
The 78-year-old who owned the home was carried out by her granddaughter's boyfriend.
