(Des Moines, IA) -- WHO Radio News has learned that Governor Kim Reynolds will sign the new flat income tax into law Tuesday, March 1st.
State Senator Dan Dawson made the announcement on Need to Know with Jeff Angelo live at the Iowa State Capitol.
After the bill is approved the new tax rate would be reduced to 3.9% by 2026 and the business rate would be reduced to 5.5%.
