Bird Flu Detected In Chickens, Ducks In Western Iowa

(Pottawattamie Co., IA) -- Bird flu is detected in western Iowa. The Iowa Department of Agriculture says bird flu was recently found in a flock of chickens and ducks in southern Pottawattamie County, near Council Bluffs. The Department of Agriculture says the birds were likely infected by migrating birds. Bird flu has also been reported in several other states including Indiana, Kentucky, and Connecticut.
