After the early Monday round of snow, forecasters say another winter storm is expected in the Central Plains by the middle of the week.
The Omaha office of the National Weather Service says a large swath of the region has a good potential for snowfall greater than 2 inches between Wednesday and Thursday, and that includes the Omaha/Council Bluffs Metro and Lincoln.
WOWT 6 News meteorologists Emily Roehler and Rusty Lord say snow could start as early as 6 p.m. Wednesday, continuing overnight into mid afternoon Thursday.
