(Washington, DC) -- A bipartisan effort is underway in Washington, DC to ban Russian oil and lower gas prices. Today U.S. Senator Joni Ernst of Iowa, Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa, and Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota will introduce the Homefront Energy Independence Act. Ernst says the bill would make E-15 available year-round, establish an E-15 and biodiesel tax credit, and direct the EPA to finalize its E-15 labeling rule. She says the bill would also help Iowa’s biofuel industry.
