(Des Moines, IA) -- A woman in Des Moines is recovering today after being shot in the face.
Police say she was stopped at a light just east of Mercy Hospital downtown around 11:45 p.m. Monday night when she was shot at. The bullet only resulted in minor facial injuries.
Police continue to investigate.
